A New Study Has Found That Artificial Sweeteners In Diet Soda Can Cause Weight Gain, Metabolic Syndrome, Diabetes And Heart Disease, Adding To The Mounting Research On The Potential Health Risks Of Soda.

And That's Not All, The Study Also Showed That The Artificial Sweeteners In Diet Soda May Interfere With The Body's Normal Reaction To Sugar, Deregulation Of Normal Levels Of Blood Sugar, More Than Drinks Regular Soda.

This Is Because The Fake Sugar Essentially Tricks Your Body Into Thinking It Has The Calories Associated With A Sweet Taste. But This Means That The Body Does Not Know How To Handle Sugar And Not The Actual Release Of The Hormone That Controls Blood Sugar And Blood Pressure.

The Study, By Researchers At Purdue University, Integrates 40 Years Of Research On The Effects Of Artificial Sweeteners And Health Problems Associated With Soda.

But Susan Swithers, Author Of The Purdue Study Issued Its Own Statement, Saying That Soda Drinkers Do Not Always Get The Correct Data On The Health Effects Of Drinking Soda. "It Is Not Uncommon For People To Give Messages That Artificially Sweetened Products Are Healthy, Help You Lose Weight, Or Help Prevent Weight Gain," Said Swithers. "Data To Support Of These Claims Are Not Very Strong, And Although It Seems Common Sense That Diet Sodas Are Not As Problematic As Regular Sodas, Common Sense Is Not Always Fair. "

Maybe Someone Would Have A Clue In The 31-Year-Old Woman Who Suffered From Heart Problems After Drinking Only Soft Drinks For 16 Years On The Risks Of Soda.

Then There Is The Monaco Unidentified Woman Was Rushed To Hospital After Fainting And Told Doctors She Had Drunk Water Since I Was 15, Only Soda, And About Two Liters And Up To Date.

The Doctors Found That The Woman Had Very Low Levels Of Potassium And A Heart Condition Called QT Syndrome, Which Can Cause An Irregular Heartbeat. He Had No Family History Of Heart Problems.

Women Were Advised To Stop Drinking Soda For A Week, And Her Symptoms Disappeared.
